Google Maps can no longer book Uber

It is no longer possible to book a ride with Uber directly via Google Maps.

Google had announced the option in early 2017. Users could enter a destination in Google Maps, calculate the route, compare driver prices, reserve a car and pay for the journey, without having to leave Maps.
