Violence Erupts in Paris Following Paris Saint-Germain Parade

Following Paris Saint-Germain's historic 5-0 victory in the Champions League final, celebrations in Paris turned violent, overshadowed by tragic incidents of stabbings.

President Macron's Response

President Emmanuel Macron condemned the violence, stating, "Nothing can justify what has happened in the past hours. The violent clashes are unacceptable... We will prosecute, we will punish, we will be ruthless," before congratulating the players at Élysée Palace.

Tragedy struck as a 17-year-old minor was fatally stabbed in Dax, and another young man in his twenties lost his life in Paris, casting a shadow over the celebrations.
