Residents under Genoa bridge do not go home

The more than 300 families that were evacuated after the collapse of the road bridge in Genoa can not go home.

The mayor of the city, Marco Bucci, has already announced that the threatened houses must be demolished, just like the remains of the bridge. A pylon and a 200-meter long motorway crashed during heavy weather on Tuesday. Around forty people were killed because they fell tens of meters with their car or truck. Of the sixteen wounded in hospitals, twelve were perilously injured.
