Facebook enables safe button for Berlin

People who were in the suspected attack in Berlin and in security, can make use of the safety check that triggered the social network, the company reported Monday.

When disaster strikes, Facebook may decide to send a special message to anyone who may be in the disaster area. Users can then press the button 'I'm safe' clicks. It then automatically notified to all friends of that user. The Facebook Safety Check was previously being used in attacks in Paris, Munich, Nice and Turkey.
