Everton Completes Permanent Signing of Carlos Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz has officially joined Everton from Flamengo on a permanent deal after impressing during his loan period. The Premier League club exercised a £13 million option to secure the Argentine's services until 2027.

Loan Success and Transfer Deal

Alcaraz initially joined Everton on loan in January and made a significant impact, scoring two goals in 15 league appearances. His performance led to the club's decision to make the move permanent. Sources suggest that the transfer fee could rise to £13 million ($17m) based on certain clauses being met.

Alcaraz's Journey

The Argentine forward, who was Flamengo's most expensive signing in 2024, struggled to meet expectations after a move from Southampton. However, his return to the Premier League reignited his career, especially under the guidance of manager David Moyes. Alcaraz's winning goal in Everton's final game against Newcastle United further solidified his place in the team.

Alcaraz has now committed his future to Everton by signing a contract that extends until 2027.
