Israel is returning Irans rocket fire to Golan

According to the Israeli army, Iran has fired about twenty projectiles to targets on the Golan Heights.

Israel also carried out war fighter attacks on targets near the Syrian city of Baath. In the counterattacks of Israel a radar installation and a fuel depot were taken. There are no reports from victims. The Syrian news agency SANA reports that the aircraft were attacked by the anti-aircraft guns. According to Syria, Israeli missiles have also been shot at the city of Homs.

According to a spokesperson for the Israeli army, 'a few' missiles from Syria were intercepted by his country. There is limited damage to Israeli positions. Earlier in the night from Wednesday to Thursday (local time), air alarms could be heard on the Golan plain.

The attack may be a retaliation against an Israeli rocket attack on an Iranian army base in Syria on Wednesday. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, eight Iranians died.

The shelling came a few hours after US President Donald Trump announced that his country was canceling the agreement on Iran's nuclear program.
