Syria makes up of US last refusing climate treaty

Syria wants to join the international climate convention of Paris from 2015.

On the UN's current climate summit in Bonn, it was announced on Tuesday that Syria is still participating. Approximately two hundred countries endorsed the climate agreement reached in Paris at the end of 2015. Only Nicaragua and Syria turned against the agreement. The US stepped out of the treaty earlier this year under President Trump, and Nicaragua decided to sign it in September.

Trump is not invited to an international summit on climate change in December in Paris. These have been emphasized by the French authorities on Tuesday. The US is expected to send a delegation.
