Senators: Kushner kept e-mails

Jared Kushner, son-in-law and senior adviser to US President Donald Trump, has withheld documents from the Senate Legal Affairs Committee to investigate possible Russian interference in the elections.

Two senators write that in a letter to Kushner's lawyer Abbe Lowell on the basis of documents that they have received from other witnesses. For example, the husband of Ivanka Trump sent emails to an unnamed campaign advisor about WikiLeaks.

'It seems that some documents have been overlooked during your search,' the senators write. Kushner's lawyer said that all relevant documents relating to contacts with Russians during the campaign and the change of office were handed over.
