Mugabe has until Monday to resign

The Zimbabwean ruling party ZANU-PF gives Robert Mugabe until Monday afternoon to resign as president himself.

Party official and minister Patrick Chinamasa said at a press conference that ZANU-PF pushes former vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa as candidate to become the new president. The party, according to sources, also pointed it out to him as a new party leader. That happened after Mugabe was removed from that position.

Also, First Lady Grace Mugabe would lose her top position within the women's league of the party. Mugabe was in power for 37 years in the African country.
