Iran cheers: IS no longer exists

The Islamic State (IS) terrorist movement no longer exists according to the Iranian President Hassan Rohani.

A senior Iranian military commander thanked 'the thousands of martyrs' who were involved in the fight against the militants in Syria and Iraq.

According to Rohani, 'evil was taken from the people's heads or weakened'. According to the president, there will undoubtedly be remnants of IS, but 'the foundation and the roots have been destroyed'.

IS has been expelled from the last strongholds in those countries both in Syria and Iraq in recent weeks.
