California fires by campfire

The wildfires north and northwest of Los Angeles are probably caused by an illegal campfire is left unattended.

The fires started on July 22 when a small fire in Garrapata State Park. The part of the park where the fire started was closed at the time for campers and campfires are prohibited. No one was arrested.
