bielefeld - A man injures five people with a sharp object at a cafe in Bielefeld, Germany, leaving three seriously wounded. German authorities suspect a terrorist attack as the perpetrator remains at large.

Man Attacks Five Cafe Guests in Bielefeld

In a disturbing incident in Bielefeld, Germany, a man wounded five cafe patrons with a sharp object, causing serious injuries to three victims, two of whom are in critical condition.

Suspected Terrorist Act

German police believe the attack may be a terrorist act, as witnesses reported the assailant randomly stabbing guests with a knife and a concealed blade in a special walking stick.

Despite being subdued by other patrons, the perpetrator managed to escape on foot after sustaining facial injuries. Upon fleeing, he left behind a backpack containing additional weapons and a flammable liquid. Authorities found a Syrian residence permit in the backpack, raising further concerns.
