17-year old deaf dog saves missing toddler

A deaf and partially blind dog named Max was put in the spotlight on Saturday by the Queensland police (Australia).

The Australian cattle drive dog took care of the 3-year-old girl. Aurora, as the girl is called, could no longer find the way back to her parents' house.

On Friday afternoon there were already searches for the girl. That did not matter. Fortunately she was not completely alone: the four-legged friend has slept with her all night.
