Merkel is no longer against homosexuality

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has opened the door for homosexuality in her country.

A majority in German parliament will vote in the absence of the fractional discipline for marriage opening, so is the expectation. Of the current parties in the Bundestag only Merkels Christian Democratic CDU and the Bavarian sister party CSU were still there.

The SPD decided on a party congress Sunday that the party will only step into the next cabinet if it becomes possible for weddings. The Greens and the Liberal FDP had already stated this condition. In Germany elections will be held in Germany. Friday is the last regular assembly day of parliament.
