Boss: work for 5 hours and pay 8 hours

The boss of an IT company in Germany has good news for his employees: they only have to work five hours a day and still get paid for eight hours.

Director Lasse Rheingans thinks that the productivity of his staff will hardly decrease since he introduced the 25-hour working week last October. Anyone who buffers through a large morning from 8 to 13 hours, according to the 37-year-old chef, is just as ready as someone who is present for eight hours, writes the Westfälische Tageszeitung.

Overtime and getting started on Saturday or Sunday are also no longer at issue with the company.

Bad news for those who want to work tomorrow at Rheingan's Digital Enabler: there are only twelve employees. Lasse will evaluate the project at the end of February.
