brussels - A stop between the political leaders of the European Union and Turkey takes place Sunday in Brussels. EU Minister Donald Tusk, who presides over the summits, consultations Monday announced via Twitter. The goal of the talks is to "give our relationship new energy and to curb the flow of migrants," continued the tweet.
The consultation is not unexpected. The EU wants Turkey to agree on better care in Turkey for Syrian refugees, return of migrants who are not entitled to asylum and improved monitoring of the border with Greece. In return, Europe include Turkey prepared to make a substantial financial contribution.
