brussels - France and Germany, as unofficial leaders of the EU, are making the spirits towards the May European elections next year ripe for a stronger Europe, which must be able to operate more independently from the US. Because of Trump they have come to the conclusion that there is nothing else: Europe needs to mature more quickly.
