Bieke of the perfect family plate is now stuck for murder

jabbeke - On Tuesday evening father Nicolas and wife Bieke W walked hand in hand across the street in the Belgian Varsenare. On Wednesday, her children Elyse (4), Fabrice (2) and Arthur (3 months) were found dead in the house and the widely respected nurse tried to crash into a concrete wall.

The village wondered how this could happen to the seemingly perfect family, writes Het Nieuwsblad. Father machinist at the Belgian NS, mother worked in the hospital in Bruges.

It is a beautiful family photo, with its five posing in a swimming pool. Two laughing parents, Fabrice with swimming rings, Elyse without straps; and in the middle baby Arthur. We write August 7 and the youngest is exactly two months old.

The photo exudes happiness. 'They were also happy,' says a schoolmother who knows the West Flemish family from Varsenare, part of Jabbeke. The two were childhood loves. 'It seemed like the perfect picture,' says someone else in the newspaper.
