Deaths from boating accident on Nile

- Through a boating accident on the Nile in Egypt certainly thirteen people were killed during the New Year night. A ferry with 22 passengers sank about 140 kilometers south of the capital Cairo, the state television reported Friday. A number of persons are still missing.

It is unclear what caused the accident. According to an eyewitness, there was bad weather and the boat was poorly maintained.
