Man who arrested army base

The British police have arrested a man who has tried to invade the US military base Mildenhall in the middle of England.

'The situation on the base could quickly be brought under control. After some time the base has opened again ', says a spokesperson for Mildenhall. Who is the intruder and what the motive of the action was is still unclear.

Mildenhall is an American air base. About 3,000 military personnel work there. There are many military freight and tank planes stationed.
