Bus with tourists crashed in east Cuba

In an accident with a tourist bus in the east of Cuba, six people were killed and about thirty injured, including six people who were mortally wounded.

The state press agency ACN reported nothing about the identity of the passengers, but according to some internet media there were Dutch people on board, just like British, Canadians, French and Mexicans.

The bus driver of the Vía Azul company on the way to Havana would have lost control of the wheel during an overtaking maneuver. The bus has been taken off the road and turned over. The company Vía Azul drives luxury buses over long distances in Cuba and is popular with tourists.
