Two visitors Tomorrowland dead by drugs

tree - During the Tomorrowland music festival in Boom, Belgium, two young women were taken to hospital after drug use. A few days later they died of the consequences. The Flemish channel VRT reports this on Sunday evening. The women came from abroad and died in the University Hospital of Antwerp.

According to the VRT, the first victim visited the first weekend of the festival. That was in the weekend between Friday 20 and Sunday 22 July. She died a week later in the University Hospital of Antwerp.

The second woman was taken to the hospital a week later in the second festival weekend. She also died in the hospital a few days later. In one of the two cases it was reported to be about ecstasy use. Both victims do not have Belgian nationality.

The Belgian police and the Public Prosecution Service in Antwerp say that they did not receive notification of a non-natural death. The Tomorrowland organization also says that it is not aware of it.
