brugge - In the Belgian city of Bruges there has been an uproar about the annual Christmas market. From now on it will be called 'Wintermarkt', reports VTM Nieuws. The organizers change the name to not offend people with other beliefs.
'If we use the word Christmas, it is associated with the Catholic faith. We want to be more neutral, 'explains one of the organizers. It is intended that 'Christmas-related products' can still be found on the market.
