8 years in prison for young Danish terror suspect

A court in Denmark sentenced a seventeen-year-old girl to eight years in prison for planning terrorist attacks.

The girl converted to Islam was only fifteen when she made contact with the Islamic State group from her room in Kundby. Then she was radicalized in a short time. She was arrested in January last year and was already in possession of chemicals and manuals to make bombs.

The girl had previously received six years from a lower court. The Public Prosecutor found her so dangerous that it wanted to keep her locked up for an indefinite period of time.
