- Manchester United is yet to make a decision on Rasmus Højlund's future, considering all options for the 22-year-old striker before the upcoming transfer window.

Manchester United's Decision on Rasmus Højlund's Future

Manchester United is still in a dilemma regarding the future of Rasmus Højlund, with sources revealing that no decision has been made yet. The 22-year-old striker had a challenging second season at Old Trafford, scoring only four Premier League goals.

Summer Transfer Window Approaching

Despite missing out on Liam Delap, who joined Chelsea, United is actively searching for another center forward. Sporting CP's Viktor Gyökeres is one of the players under United's radar.

Højlund's representatives recently held discussions with United officials about the Denmark international's future. Inter Milan and other clubs have shown interest in the young striker.

Højlund's Expectation to Stay

While on international duty, Højlund expressed his expectation to continue playing for Manchester United next season, highlighting his contract until 2028.

United's decision regarding Højlund will be influenced by the potential arrival of another striker before the new season. The club is prioritizing a deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo and has already secured a transfer agreement for Matheus Cunha.
