Liverpool Close to Signing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen

Liverpool is on the brink of securing a record-breaking deal to sign attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. The €150 million agreement, inclusive of add-ons, will make Wirtz the most expensive signing in Liverpool's history.

Details of the Deal

Sources reveal that Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen have reached a full agreement for the 22-year-old midfielder. Wirtz is set to undergo a medical after agreeing on personal terms with the Reds. This move will reunite him with former teammate Jeremie Frimpong.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa has entered the race to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, who is also sought after by Chelsea, Bayer Leverkusen, and Atlético Madrid. Tottenham Hotspur is eyeing Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo, with talks ongoing for a potential £70 million deal.

Other transfer rumors include Newcastle United's interest in Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford for £30 million and Internazionale's pursuit of Brighton's Julio Enciso.
