A woman in Great Britain was sentenced to life imprisonment for an acid attack on her former friend Mark van Dongen from Rijsbergen. Berlinah Wallace (48) is eligible for early release after twelve years, reports the BBC.
A South African woman who attacked her ex-boyfriend Mark van Dongen in the British Bristol with sour acid from Rijsbergen was acquitted of murder and manslaughter. The court declared the woman guilty of throwing a corrosive liquid over the Rijsbergenaar.
The municipality of Zundert wants to vacate the last of a total of eleven fields of camping Fort Oranje in Rijsbergen on December 6th. The municipality announced it to the remaining residents on Tuesday. Exceptions may remain.
With over fifty officials, all mobile homes will be checked on Wednesday at the infamous Fort Orange campsite in Rijsbergen. Between six and seven hundred caravans are checked whether they are safe enough to live, according to a spokeswoman for the municipality of Zundert. The campsite manager is instructed to restore violations. The participating officials are from various municipalities in West Brabant. The results of the check are expected Thursday.
