- 'He will not come out, do not you think.' Trevor Talbot is what perplexed outside the Embassy of Ecuador in West London. He hoped to catch a glimpse or possibly more of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. Therefore, he asked this morning, got in the car, at home in Portsmouth. 'It's two hours drive away. That I have to pay for it to really make something historical. 'Now rest nothing but what sip peer into some windows in a measly London.

Julian Assange at large. That would indeed be a historic event. But it's not gonna happen. One hundred journalists gathered in front of the embassy building. Fifteen camera crews shoot a door that remains close. Eagerly they sign the words to 'friends of Assange ', each of which thought the British Government would accept the decision of the United Nations that the' detention 'of Assange was unlawful.

However, there is no. Philip Hammond, the British Foreign Secretary, is quite short in its response to the UN decision. 'Completely ridiculous,' he judges. The international arrest warrant for Assange just remain in force, he noted. The moment Assange steps outside, the British police take him into the collar. The arrest car is ready.

Assange in turn outraged by the response from Hammond. He considers his language 'beneath the dignity of a person in his position. ' The UN decision has for the first time a 'smile' cause.

Katherine da Silva, a British middle-aged is disappointed at the continuing impasse. They all believe none of the stories that Assange would have raped women in Sweden. 'That whole story is wrong. The woman who filed the complaint is a real man-hater. And she still Assange himself invited to her hotel room. '

Conspiracy, conspiracy, conspiracy. Assange is in the eyes of most of the major supporters of ontrafelaar conspiracies. And now he himself entangled in such a conspiracy. What Da Sliva concerns are immediately withdrawn the charges from Sweden. Assange simply can roam freely.

Assange himself wants political asylum in Ecuador. This is awarded to him, except that he can be transported to the airport with no chance. He has no passport- which took away the British- and he can not go outside.

The biggest fear is that Assange be extradited to the United States. That country suspects him of releasing state secrets. Through Wikileaks Assange has tens of thousands of 'secret' American (and other) documents made public.

The Irishman Jim Curran is a fervent opponent of the extradition to the United States. 'We should never do,' he decided. 'The United States has not even recognized the International Court in The Hague. Let them do it at first but once. '

Bystanders nod. They all agree with each other. But it helps Assange nothing. Trevor Talbot look further around. 'Quite a nice neighborhood here,' he says, pointing to the nearby Harrods department store. 'I understand that a town house here easily cost 10 million pounds,' he adds. 'But what have you to it if you can not even the streets. No, give me just Portsmouth. 'He wanders off in search of his car. Perhaps another day real history will be made.
