White House wanted info about attack on Iran, ministry shocked

The White House last year asked the Department of Defense in Washington what the possibilities were for attacking Iran.

The question came from John Bolton, President Trump's chief security adviser. 'People were shocked. It was astonishing how frivolous they thought about an attack on Iran, 'says a former government official anonymously against The Wall Street Journal. The business newspaper reports Sunday that the Pentagon has thought about the possibilities to attack Iran, but it is not clear if the results have ended up in the White House. It is also not clear whether Trump himself knew about the request.
