US remain with 400 soldiers in Syria

The United States does not leave Syria completely, but for the time being, it leaves around four hundred soldiers in the country.

Approximately two hundred soldiers will remain in an agreed safe zone in the north-east of Syria. They will be part of a larger European force. The rest will remain in the army base in Tanf at the border with Iraq and Jordan. A spokesperson for President Donald Trump said that the stay of the troops has a 'limited duration'.
