Suspects arrested in kidnapping Drachten

The police Sunday night in Drachten and Boelenslaan five suspects arrested in connection with a report of a kidnapping.

Runners in a patrol car saw there a man come running them off. This man reported that he was held against his will in the car who drove just left.

Another patrol car drove after it and kept the occupant to. It is a 26-year-old man from Surhuisterveen and a 45-year-old woman from Drachten. The investigation showed that there are probably many more suspects involved in the case.

The trail led to a campsite in Boelenslaan. There was found a firearm at a Service Search and three suspects, a 41-year-old man from Ureterp, a 37-year-old man from Drachten and a 21-year-old woman from Augustinusga, arrested.

Two passenger cars and firearms were seized.
