Speedboat Thailand burns out

A speedboat full of tourists has been caught fire by the Thai island of Phuket.

The King Poseidon 959 had just left for the island of Phi Phi when the flames were flying around. This happened after a crew member had detected a fuel leak and opened the engine compartment, according to the Bangkok Post.

Most of them managed to get to safety by jumping directly into the sea. Boats in the neighborhood could catch the drowners again.

The wounded are fourteen Chinese and two Thai crew members.
