Puerto Rico is still largely in the dark

More than four weeks after Hurricane Maria made a trace of destruction, almost 80 percent of Puerto Rico still has no electricity.

President Donald Trump received a visit to Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello on Thursday. He promised to grant grants and loans for reconstruction through Congress. Trump said that the US government should first be repaid and only the other creditors. Before MarĂa came to land, Puerto Rico was already bankrupt with a debt of $ 72 billion.

Trump praises the efforts of the White House to help Puerto Rico on top. On a scale of 1 to 10, he gave himself and his government the highest grade because 'we've taken so many provisions and so soon.' Rossello declined to give a report.
