North Korean top figure to New York

The former chief of the North Korean secret service and chief executive in the government party, Kim Yong-chol, boarded a plane to the United States on Wednesday in Beijing.

The two are said to speak about a summit meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. According to a previous plan, they would meet in Singapore on June 12, but after some statements from Kim, Trump said he was not coming. Now both parties seem to want to arrange a meeting in the short term.
