Israeli party breaks ties with Labor

The Israeli workers' party Ha'Avoda has broken the relationship with the British sister organization Labor.

Party leader Avi Gabbay informed his British colleague in a letter of his obligation to point out to him the hostility that Labor had radiated against the Jewish community. 'And on the anti-Semitic remarks and actions that you have admitted as leader of Labor UK. '

Gabbay refers, among other things, to the media reports that staff members from among others Corbyn distributed anti-Semitic texts via social media. Sir David Garrard, one of the biggest sponsors of Labor, has turned his back on the party. Gabbay is also unhappy about Corbyn's understanding of the Palestinian cause.
