German metal thief electrocuted

A metal thief had to pay for the burglary in a transformer house in the German town of Delitzsch.

His companion, who was three years younger, who was shocked as a witness to the electrocution but remained unharmed, alerted the police. Help was no longer to the benefit. Removing the corpse was risky and only worked after the power was turned off. The switching station was on the fenced site of an old abandoned sugar factory.
