Eleven starving children rescued from underground complex

The American authorities rescued eleven children from an underground residential complex in a sparsely populated, mountainous area in New Mexico.

The authorities made an invasion because of a cry for help that would come from the home camp. Someone wrote: 'We are starving and need food and water. 'Agents then met the children, three women and two men. The police had to overpower one of the men. He was armed and refused to surrender.

The sheriff says that the children of one to fifteen years of age 'looked like refugees from the third world. 'They did not have shoes and walked around in' rags. 'The women have been released for the time being after their interrogation. It is probably about the mothers of the children.

The FBI had been monitoring the complex in Taos County for some time. One of the arrested men would have lived there with his kidnapped, three-year-old son and the FBI was initially looking for it. That toddler has not been found.
