Dead for two weeks for breathing

Yechezkel Nakar (68) is in the Maimonides Medical Center in New York for ventilation equipment.

The Presbyterian signed a death certificate on May 31, after it was found that Nakar was brain death due to a stroke, reports the New York Post. That was against the sentence of the strictly orthodox Jewish family, because Nakar's heart remained 'just'. The sick was then not taken to a funeral center, but to the Maimonides where he was placed on the equipment.

The Nakar family is fighting the death certificate now. Wife Sarah still does not want her husband to die and tries to 'undo' her husband's death by court. That trial also has a financial side.
