- Arsenal is negotiating the signing of Valencia's center-back Cristhian Mosquera, with competition from RB Leipzig. The 20-year-old is a Spain youth international and a target for defensive cover.

Arsenal in Talks to Secure Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia

Arsenal is currently in discussions to acquire Valencia's talented center-back, Cristhian Mosquera, as sources have revealed. The 20-year-old player has gained significant experience with 73 LaLiga appearances over the past two seasons.

Competition for Mosquera

Despite interest from other clubs like RB Leipzig, Arsenal seems to have an advantageous position in securing Mosquera's signature. The player, a Spain youth international with eligibility for Colombia, is on the radar of several top teams.

Defensive Reinforcements for Arsenal

Arsenal's pursuit of Mosquera is fueled by the need for defensive cover, particularly with potential departures of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães. The Gunners are looking to bolster their defense as they plan for the upcoming season.

Jakub Kiwior, who filled in last season, is also a player under consideration for a potential move. Additionally, names like Riccardo Calafiori, Jurriën Timber, and Ben White have been key figures in Arsenal's backline.

Other Transfer Targets

Besides Mosquera, Arsenal is also finalizing deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Nørgaard, and Martín Zubimendi to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.
