Criticism of Boeing and FAA about 737 Max is growing

In the United States, criticism of aircraft manufacturer Boeing and aviation authority FAA is growing, writes The New York Times.

According to the newspaper, the FAA has hardly tested the system. Because the engines of the 737 Max are larger and in a different location than older versions of the device, the aerodynamics have changed considerably. MCAS must limit the influence of those adjustments and is therefore a crucial part of the device, but the FAA relied too much on Boeing when approving the 737 Max, the newspaper writes.
