- Sources reveal that Manchester City is on the verge of finalizing a €40 million deal for Wolves' left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri, who is set to join City for the FIFA Club World Cup.

Manchester City Nearing Deal for Rayan Aït-Nouri

Manchester City is close to securing a deal with Wolves for left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri for a reported fee of €40 million. The Algeria international is expected to join City's squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.

Transfer Details

Aït-Nouri, who has made 157 appearances for Wolves since 2020, will undergo a medical after being allowed to leave international duty with Algeria. He will be City's second summer signing following midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.

Future Plans

City, preparing for the Club World Cup, are flying to Florida next week for training. Their first match is against Wydad AC on June 18 in Philadelphia. The club is also eyeing other targets like Rayan Cherki, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Andrea Cambiaso.

Player Exclusions

Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker will not be part of the CWC squad. Grealish seeks a move away from City, while Walker's loan spell at AC Milan has ended.
