- The Groningen provider of social media content Crowdynews has picked up a second investment round of € 3.7 million. Early last year made it all € 2.5 million.

Crowdynews gives new media insights into social media use. The company calls itself the world's largest social media curation platform focuses on selecting, categorizing and disseminating social media content for new media. The company has customers like De Persgroep and the Berliner Zeitung. With the help of Crowdynews they can add relevant, real-time and secure social content to their articles.

With the new investment raised by INKEF Capital Crowdynews will continue its global expansion and product development. 'We believe that these steps will help us in the guidance for the next phase of growth, which we want to enter key markets such as Britain and the United States,' said Jeroen Zanen, co-CEO of Crowdynews.
