munich - The German governmental party CSU lost the absolute majority in the Bavarian heimat yesterday. In the economically strongest state, the conservative party lost a lot of votes, as did the social democratic SPD, which is also in the coalition with Chancellor Angela Merkel's CDU. Especially environmental party the Greens and the radical right AfD could benefit from this loss of votes.
