moscow - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday visited Moscow and had talks there with his counterpart Vladimir Putin. That the Kremlin on Wednesday.
The two leaders spoke including on the progress of the military campaign against Islamic state in Syria.
Russia is an ally of Assad and performs include air strikes on positions of militants.
