Vietnam punishes berber attacks severely

The Vietnamese judge sentenced fifteen people to long prison sentences on Wednesday for planning an attack on the largest airport in Ho Chi Minh City in the south.

The police could prevent disaster at Tan Son Nhat airport after passengers had noticed suspicious packages. They were found to contain explosives. The main suspect, who was accused of manufacturing petrol bombs, got sixteen years in prison. His companions disappear behind bars for five to fourteen years. They would have received instructions from a foreign militant organization, spreading propaganda through the social media and recruiting followers.
