OM Suriname: 4 and 6 years for terror turists

The Public Prosecution Service (OM) in Suriname has claimed six and four years' imprisonment against Raoul A.

The Public Prosecutor thinks there is sufficient evidence that the brothers in Surinam recruited people to fight in Syria for terrorist organization IS. According to the prosecution it is also clear that the brothers gave money to a Syrian gang when he was without money in Turkey. This indirect financing of a terrorist organization is punishable.
