NVWA trains veterinarians because of Brexit

The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority trains dozens of foreign veterinarians to become inspectors.

That reports the NOS. That is why the NVWA is mainly recruited in Flanders and in Eastern and Southern Europe. In the first generation, 23 South and East European vets are in training alongside Flemings, followed by another 36 soon. They receive an intensive language course of three times six weeks and then a substantive further training.
