No agreement brexit, negotiator gets more time

The 27 EU leaders are giving their brexit negotiator Michel Barnier more time to reach an agreement with the United Kingdom on the divorce and future relationship with the European Union.

As soon as Barnier reports that, according to him, 'decisive progress' has been made, a special summit will be convened to mark the deal at the highest level with British Prime Minister Theresa May. That summit is not expected to take place in November.
