Netanyahu: Iran passed red line

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has defended the air attacks on targets in Syria.

Israel fought dozens of targets in Syria on the night from Wednesday to Thursday. In addition, three people were killed according to the Syrian army. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights spoke of 23 killed victims.

The Israeli attack took place after rockets were fired at the Golan Heights. Iran would be responsible for that. It was the first time that Israel directly accused the Islamic Republic of shooting Israeli territory, reports the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

Netanyahu said that his government's policy is clear: 'We do not allow Iran to settle in Syria. 'The Iranians support the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad there.
