Guaidó: aid enters Venezuela on February 23

Venezuelan opposition leader and interim president Juan Guaidó Márquez announced during a major demonstration in Caracas that 23 February humanitarian aid from the US Venezuela.

At the Colombian border town of Cúcuta, relief supplies are collected at a new road bridge to Venezuela, but it is blocked on the Venezuelan side. It is not clear how Guaidó wants to get the relief goods, including medicines and food, into the country. He seems to hope that Tuesday's demonstrations will increase the pressure on parts of the armed forces and persuade them to help them anyway.
